Happy New Year Fellow Alumni and Friends,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the online information center for the Alabama A&M University Alumni Association, Inc.

We invite you to browse our site to find information on the University and Alumni Chapter events.

Please support AAMU Athletics by purchasing season tickets for the spring sports. The basketball, tennis, and track and field need your support. We ask that if any of the Bulldog teams are playing in your area, put on your Maroon and White and go out and support them.

Membership dues are due now for 2012. Please renew your membership and recruit 5 new alumni for 2012 association year. We encourage each chapter to submit your membership rosters and dues to the National Chapter by the early February deadline.

If you reside in an area where there is not an active AAMU Alumni Association chapter, contact the Office of Alumni Affairs or any officer of the Association to get information on how to start a chapter. If you graduated in the 2011 school year, your alumni dues have been paid and you may join an active chapter. The Alumni Association needs your support with increasing our membership and local chapters.

Updates from the Hill:

The Alumnni Summer Conference is scheduled for June 14-16, 2012 in Houston,Texas. Registration information is available at http://www.aamuhoustonalumni.com/.

Remember to place AAMU in your 2012 budget and make a donation this year. Universities are rated on the number of Alumni that give back to the institution. Visit Giving to AAMU for more details.

Updates from the Alumni Association:

The process of securing a slate of candidates for the 2012 election of officers is complete. The news section provides a listing of candidates for all offices. Please participate in this election process in order to insure that our officers reflect the views of the membership of the Alumni Association.
